Brenda S. Ellerin is a fixed-income portfolio manager at Capital Group. As a fixed-income investment analyst at Capital, she covers municipal securities issued by nonprofit institutions in the health care industry and those issued by cities and states backed by sales taxes, along with water and sewer bonds. Brenda has 26 years of investment experience and has been with Capital Group for 24 years. Before joining Capital, she was a money market credit analyst, fixed-income research assistant and sales & service representative for Fidelity Investments in Boston and Dallas. She holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan School of Business Administration graduating with distinction. She is also a member of the California Society of Municipal Analysts. Brenda is based in Los Angeles.
