Abner D. Goldstine is a fixed-income portfolio manager at Capital Group. He has 64 years of investment experience and has been with Capital Group for 48 years. Prior to joining Capital, Abner was the chief deputy savings and loan commissioner for the State of California. Earlier in his career, he was a vice president and economist for Union Bank in Los Angeles and for the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. Abner attended the doctoral program in economics at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Northwestern University. He is a member of the Los Angeles Society of Financial Analysts and National Association of Business Economists. Abner is based in Los Angeles.
