Each fund that is registered in Switzerland will generally seek to produce certain figures that may aid in the completion of the shareholder's annual tax declaration. The list of figures that will be made available is given below. The share classes for which figures will be produced are generally:

  • B, BL, P, Z, ZL and their equivalent distributing share classes (d and gd) in GBP, EUR, USD and CHF.
  • The equivalent hedged share classes of the above listed share classes in GBP, EUR, USD and CHF.
  • For Capital Group Japan Equity Fund (LUX) it will also be sought in JPY.

It is possible that, on a case-by-case basis, the fund may prepare tax figures for other share classes.

The tax figures that will be published are as follows:

  • Taxable investment income (Rendement imposable/zu versteurender Ertrag/Reddito imponibile) for the fiscal year of the fund.
  • Taxable value of shares (Valeur imposable/Steuerwert/Valore imponibile) as at the end of each calendar year.
  • Details of distributions including the split between the taxable (Rendement imposable/zu versteurender Ertrag/Reddito imponibile) and non-taxable components (KG/KEP), if any.

Current year tax figures detailed above will be made available around March following the fiscal year for which the figures were prepared on the website of the Swiss Federal Tax Administration (FTA): www.ictax.admin.ch

You can find the information you need by searching for the specific fund using its ISIN (International Securities Identification Number) or Valoren.
